Every Wednesday at 12:45 pm

Join the Wii video game craze! This game is great to help improve hand-eye coordination and movement, and can be done while seated. This drop-in program is lots of fun! Drop in fee applies.

Mexican Train

Wednesdays at 11 am. This twist on the classic Domino game is great fun! Everyone is invited to play in this drop-in program. Don’t know how to play? No worries! We’ll teach you this fun game!

Bingo

Every Thursday at 9:30 am

Come and try your luck at BINGO! Cost is $2 for 3 cards. Drop in fee applies.


Scarlet Ladies of Fraser

The Scarlet Ladies group meets at the Fraser Activities Center on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for conversations, friendship, lunches and outings-whatever we want to do!  You must be a member of the Fraser Activity Center and $25 if you’re a Fraser resident & $35 if you reside outside of Fraser.  Our only rules are to wear purple and a RED hat and have fun!  For more info on the Scarlet Ladies, Call Gail at (586) 731-2996.


Lunch & Bingo at Oakmont Parkway

Come join us for Lunch & Bingo at Oakmont Parkway in Clinton Township. Oakmont Parkway is an enhanced independent senior living community. This Free event is limited to 16 participants. Y ou will be picked up at the Fraser Senior Center, followed by Lunch, a mini tour and bingo with prizes. Must pre-register, call the office to sign up!



Jeopardy Party & Learn

Tuesday, May 14th at 2 pm

Fulfill your dream of being on Jeopardy with our live, interactive version! We will have questions from eras gone by and prizes for correct answers. Not only will you be having a blast, but Alysia Ritter from Healthcare Advisor will be touching on questions and information regarding Medicare as well! Coffee and snacks will be provided. March 28th 2019 Time 3pm

Wheel of Fortune – Fraser edition

Tuesday, April 16th 12 pm doors

Put your knowledge to the test with our live interactive Wheel of Fortune gameshow! We’ll have a light lunch and play Wheel of Fortune with prizes. This is just for fun and we invite everyone to participate! Cost is $12 members, $15 non-members. Registration deadline is April 9th.


Kentucky Derby Party

Friday, May 3rd, Doors at 11:30 am

Pull out your fanciest hat and derby wear and join our Derby party! We will have a derby-inspired meal of croissant sandwiches, luncheon salads, and a dessert. Multiple activities will be planned with prizes! Wear your best hat for the hat contest. Cost is $12 members, $16 non-members. Register by Friday, April 26th.


Glam Gals Pamper Party

Tuesday, May 28th at 2:30 pm – 4pm

Grab your gals and come out for an hour and a half of pampering and appetizers! We’ll do some meditation and chair yoga to calm our mind, paraffin hand wax dips and nail polish, make a beautiful fabric floral brooch and finish the event with a glamour shoot because you deserve it!  This is a perfect event for mothers and daughters! RSVP by Tuesday, May 21st. Cost is $9 members, $13 non-members.

This is a weekly program and runs for 8 weeks.

Join this class presented by the Macomb Area Agency on Aging to learn informational tips, group exercises to increase strength, flexibility and endurance while sharing solutions & positive thinking.  A Matter of Balance is an evidence based program for seniors who want to learn more about preventing falls. Henry Ford Macomb Fall Prevention – Free Seminar

Friday, January 18th. 2019 from 11am – 1pm

Seniors 55+ Pickleball

Exercise Club

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10 am – Richard Simmons Silver Foxes low impact exercise.

Mondays at 10 am – Chair Tai Chi

Meet up with friends and exercise along with these videos that have a fan following! Each session is suitable for the beginner or intermediate exerciser and is designed to increase flexibility, stamina and balance. Drop in fee applies.

Beginners and Intermediate Tai Chi with Instructor John Marchowitz

Mondays beginners at 1pm, Intermediate at 2pm

5 week sessions starting January 7th, February 11th and March 22nd

Find your Zen with this beginning Tai Chi Class with an option to use chair. Tai Chi exercises help to rejuvenate, heal, energize and de-stress; and help those with arthritis, joint pain, back pain and more. Call the center to find the next start date for this class. Cost for 5-week session is $26 for members, $32 for non-members. Drop in fee is $7.


Chair Yoga

Tuesdays at 11 am, starting January 8th, February 19th and April 2nd

Line Dancing/Exercise Class?

Mat Yoga

Mondays at 6 pm, 7 week sessions Starting April 8th and June 3rd.?

Yoga helps calm the mind, body, and spirit and also has many health benefits!  Our yoga class is taught by the talented Jasmin! From beginners to advance students, Jasmin’s experience with many different types of people allows her to modify these poses for all abilities! Cost for 7-week session is $65 Resident, $75 non-resident.

Mamma Mia

Mamma Mia! is a jukebox musical, originally produced in London by Judy Cramer, Richard East and Björn Ulvaeus. It is based on the songs of ABBA. The Marvelous Wonderettes presented by Meadowbrook Theatre

This hit takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom where we meet four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts!  As we learn about their lives, the girls serenade us with classic ‘50s hits. When the girls reunite to take the stage and perform at their ten-year reunion, we learn about the past decade’s highs and lows. Edsel & Eleanor Ford Mansion Tour

Guides reveal the private side of the Ford family while you tour the mansion of one of the most influential families in Michigan. FBI Tour and Presentation

Friday, June 7th, 2019, Van departs at 9:15 am and will return about 2 pm

Get a glimpse of the FBI world right in our own Detroit! Join in with your friends for two very interesting presentations by an Official FBI agent on Elder Abuse and the Opiates Epidemic, ending with a tour of the FBI building. A Stroll in the Park

Monday, June 10th, bus leaves at 10:30, returns at 1 pm

When is the last time that you’ve been to METRO PARK (now Lake St. Clair Park)? This park is a beautiful addition to Macomb County that has recently had numerous beautiful updates! There is a new Marina, updated walking paths and much more. We will take you to the park and the choice is yours. Lunch will be brought to you at 11:30 by the Marina. Tuesdays between 1pm and 4pm

Beginning April 23rd

Could you use some assistance with your new phone, tablet or laptop? Perhaps you just need to brush up on how to use your email or Facebook account. Bring your questions as you meet one-on-one with a volunteer in this FREE program. Must register one week in advance, cancellations must be at least 24 hours in advance to respect the volunteer assistant’s time. In Case of Emergency… Presented by Healthcare Advisor

Tuesday, April 23rd at 2 pm

Be ready and prepared for life’s biggest medical and financial challenges! This workshop presented by Alysia Ritter of Healthcare Advisor will focus on preparation and prevention. You will also receive a helpful booklet to keep to help organize information in case of an emergency. To add another level of preparation, the City of Fraser will talk about the new SMART 911 system and how it will help a police or EMS better protect you in case of emergency. Lunch & Learn “Until Death Do We Part”

Bridge Class

Have you ever wanted to know how to play Bridge, or want to improve your game? Bridge Instructor Chet will be holding classes to pass on this great game! Meetings will be on Wednesdays at 2 pm and cost $30 for a six week class. Class start date to be determined, a minimum of 6 interested persons are needed to start the class so sign up on the waitlist at the Senior office!
